MTL FALL DAYS 2023

This time in Garching bei München! 

We are thrilled to meet up with everyone from the MtL family, hear about your cool projects and research, discuss science and more!  You will find more information regarding the event taking place below.

Accomodation

All students are provided accommodation at the B&B hotel.

Rooms are booked for the nights of 20th and 21st.  Check in starts at 15:00 on 20st and check out is at 11:00 on 22nd.

It is a twin room, meaning one room needs to be shared between two people. When you check-in please tell at the reception whom you will be sharing the room with. In case you do not, we shall randomly assign you a gender-matched roommate.

The event will take place at TUM, Center for Functional Protein Assemblies (CPA)

Reaching the Venue: It can be reached by U6, and the stop is called Garching- Forschungzentrum. The venue is about 15 min from the hotel by public transport.

Food

Breakfast will be provided at the hotel on both days

Lunch is at the Mensa Campus Garching (2’ from the venue by foot). You will be provided vouchers.

Dinner is self-organized

Visit to Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum

During the fall days you have the opportunity to visit the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum. Those who have registered for it, please contact one of the coordinators at the Welcome desk, to sign the forms on 21.09.2023. Unfortunately, due to restrictions regarding number of visitors at a time, we cannot give spots to those who have not registered.

Lab visits

Lab visits to the below groups have been organised. During registration, if you had signed up for one of these lab visits, you should have received a confirmation email. All spots are full, but if you would like to visit one of these labs, we will have a sign up sheet at the Welcome desk. We shall get back to you then if it is possible during the event.
